ABOUT US
WHO?
Meditation Minds is a Galway based meditation resources group. The group was founded by Daniel Maher, and now consits of over 100 members.
WHEN?
In March 2020, during the pandemic, this group was initially setup.
WHAT?
This community was setup initially to provide self-guided resources to those who needed it. Since then, the group has evolved to include Group Meditation sessions!
Self-Guided meditation
Using our self guided meditation resources, you should have no issues introducing yourself to the basics.
BREATH
The breath is the engine of meditation. We can use our breathing to become present, to calm our nervous system, and as a focus point when looking to get into a meditative state
BODY SCAN
Body scans allow you to listen to your body and understand where you may be holding stress. It is a great way to tune in, and become present with yourself.
RESET
Our goal is to make mindfulness and meditation available to everyone, whether you have an hour to spare, or just 5 minutes. Give your body and mind some peace, to replenish however little that is.
Communal Meditation
You can find our community meditating as a group twice per month. The information regading these meetings for the month ahead can be found below.
Salthill Promenade
Friday, August 12th

Come join us for a group meditation setting on a quiet part of the beach at Salthill Promenade. We will meet at the Salthill diving board at 18:30!
Barna Woods
Saturday, August 27th
15:30PM
Come join us for a group meditation. Meet at the main entrance of Barna Woods at 3:30!
